The Field Guide points you to the agencies that publish tides, forecasts, water data and fishing rules. Those change, sometimes by the hour. Always check the current version before you go out, and use your own judgment on the water. We're not responsible for conditions, closures or rule changes.

Stories and photos
Stories and photos on this site belong to us or to the people who shared them with permission. Share and link to anything. Quote us with credit. Don't republish whole stories or photos as your own.
Other people's work
When Tide Table points to someone else's reporting, it belongs to them. We credit it and link to it.
Names
Company, agency and organization names belong to their owners. Mentioning one doesn't mean they're connected to us or approve of what we say.
Limits
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for decisions you make based on what you read here.
