The fine print
Accessibility
What's built in, and what we haven't tested yet.
Built in
- WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the target.
- A skip link, full keyboard use, and a visible focus outline everywhere.
- Every text color measured against its background. The lowest contrast on the site is 6.0 to 1.
- The wave lines are decoration and are hidden from screen readers. Nothing depends on them.
- Tables have proper headers and a caption, and scroll sideways on small screens.
- Links that leave the site name where they go.
Not tested yet
Nobody who uses a screen reader every day has tested the site yet.
