Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it where you can see it.
What we correct
Wrong facts, names, places, dates, figures and quotes. If we got it wrong, it gets fixed.
How a correction looks
We change the story and add a note at the bottom saying what was wrong, what it now says, and the month the change was made. We don't quietly edit and hope nobody noticed.
Opinion and essays
An essay is someone's view, and a view isn't corrected. If an essay gets a fact wrong, the fact is corrected like any other.
